Rogersville: "Walking tours of the historic district will be hosted by Tour Designs & More on Saturdays, September 8 and 15, October 20 & 27, November 3 & 24th, 2007.  Starting at Crockett Springs Park at 10:00AM until 12:30PM, you will learn about the history, architecture, people and stories of this historic town. Afterwards, enjoy leisure time downtown to have lunch and shop for a great Saturday. $10.00 per person, Call 423-272-8549 for reservations."

Rogersville:  "Yarnspinners of Hawkins County pick up their Second Friday Storytelling again after summer break, on September 14th, 2007 (through May, 2008), at the Local Artists Gallery! Come to share your stories, poems and story songs. Or maybe you would just like to come and listen.  On the corner of Church and East Main Streets, at 7:00PM. Free. The next gathering will be on Friday, October 12 during Heritage Days, place TBA, November 9 will be "Tellabration!", a special nationwide celebration of storytelling."

October 12-14, 2007  Rogersville Heritage Days with crafts, food, music and storytelling on Friday night after the Classic Car parade, all day Saturday and Sunday.
